At a very young age, I fell in love with small books that conveyed big messages. I’ve turned that love into a passion for writing stories and poetry for children. I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, two children, and our pups. My family is a constant source of love and support, and the inspiration they provide can be found on every page I write.
Jamie is the author of several books for children, including It’s Not Mean to be Green. She is the Executive Producer and playwright for It’s Not Mean to be Green the Musical, which toured for two years following its debut.
Kleman has spent extensive time with schools and youth organizations, and consistently delivers messages through her work that inspires creativity, kindness, and inspiration. She has been featured on television, radio, and in various publications, and was a guest speaker at TEDxWilmington and TEDxWilmingtonUniversity.
